Friends, we need you to SHOW your support again. As we prepare to meet with the members of the Baltimore City Council we need to demonstrate the support that we have in the community. We are asking the City Council to remove the Egan Marine property at 1000 Key Highway from the Mizod. We are against any extension of the MIZOD until we resolve the issue with the Egan property.
Our Council President - Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and the Chair of the Land Use Committee - Ed Reisinger are both very familiar with this issue.
We urge you to cc all of the Council members on your emails, and especially the one in your district.
We must do this before time runs out. Forward to your friends!!
You need to use your influence - Those opposed to us are using theirs!
SAMPLE LETTER - COPY & PASTE - Edit where necessary or write your own.

To Whom It May Concern:
I / we are writing this letter to show support for the re-location of Little Havana Restaurant. I am a patron of Little Havana and a registered voter, and enjoy the services and convenience Little Havana provides. Little Havana is a supportive member of many local associations, charities and leagues and has been for the past eleven years.
(Describe your status & benefits to the community).
Little Havana has supported us for the past (amount) years and has proven to be a vital part of our existence. (Describe why we are important).
We understand that due to their lease expiring they are forced to move to a new location and feel 1000 Key Hwy location would be best suited for them and the community. We don’t feel it would disrupt the community due to the close proximity to the present location and it is vital for them to keep their regular customer base.
We would like saying on the behalf of our members that we fully support Little Havana’s re-location to 1000 Key Hwy and feel it is important to more than just their survival.
I am against the extension of the MIZOD 08-0018 unless the 1000 Key Highway location is able to Opt-out.
Thank you
